There was one, and only one, problem with the return of Dunkaroos earlier this year—they never should have gone away in the first place. The classic ’90s snack should have become a permanent staple of household pantries forever. But why dwell on all the time we missed out on that sweet treat when the future promises to be so delicious. Especially when it’s about to get even tastier. Dunkaroos is getting its very own sugar cookie dough. And you better believe it comes with frosting.
General Mills newest version of their delicious snack is logical evolutionary step for beloved treat. Dunkaroos’ new ready-to-bake Sugar Cookie Dough (which we first heard about at Delish) will let you add some fresh warmth to one of our favorite childhood foodstuffs. The refrigerated cookie dough can be turned into either six oversized cookies or 24 miniature ones. Obviously you’ll want to make six giant ones, that way when you eat the whole package yourself you can say, “I only had six cookies!” instead of 24. That’s just math.
But as we all know, Dunkaroos isn’t just about cookies, which is why each package also comes with classic vanilla frosting with sprinkles “for the ultimate Dunkaroos experience.” Yes. YES. Give it to us. Seriously, a fresh out-of-the-oven Dunkaroos cookie topped with frosting probably ranks in the top 15 things about 2020.

Once again though the only downside is an issue of availability. You will only be able to find this cookie dough at select stores nationwide. You can pick up your kit at your nearby HyVee, Kroger, Wakefern, Walmart, Wegmans, Albertsons, or Safeway. And worse, this cookie dough will only be available “for a limited time.”
Haven’t we already learned that when it comes to Dunkaroos they should be available for an infinite amount of time?
