If you’re a hardcore Disney Parks fan, then you know that one of the perks of going to Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom is the ability to get a delicious, soft serve Dole Whip. Usually, they are sold in Adventureland, adjacent to the Enchanted Tiki Room. There’s nothing like seeking refuge in the Tiki Room on a hot summer day with a delicious and cool Pineapple Dole Whip treat. Until now, you could only get a Dole Whip in the Disney Parks and at the Dole Plantation in Hawaii. But according to a report from Fortune, Dole Whip is coming to grocery store freezer aisles sometime in 2023.
Dole is whipping out (forgive us) some 11 new products, all revealed at Natural Products Expo West. These include products that include juices, smoothies, smoothie bowls, Dole Good Crunch, Dole Wiggles Fruit Juice Gels, and The Secret Nature of Fruit Chews and Probiotic Sodas. But the one everyone is excited about, without a doubt, is the Dole Whip. Since it has only been available in the theme parks since 1984, tons of folks who don’t live in a state with a Disney park can finally see what the big deal is all about.
Of course, this means that the Disney Parks might replace the classic Dole Whip with something new. Or perhaps a flavor of Dole Whip that will only be available there. They will likely want something tasty you can get at Disneyland and Disney World, and only there. Exclusivity is the name of the game. Of course, churros are available everywhere, but no one makes them quite like Disney Parks do. So who knows. As for when the grocery store Dole Whips will become available, all we know is sometime this year. As for having your very own Tiki Room to go with it, you’re just going to have to get creative.
