Does WONDER MAN Have a Post-Credits Scene? The Series Ending, Explained

Wonder Man is here and essentially gone considering that all eight episodes are now available for streaming. The series follows the exploits of Simon Williams (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II), a struggling Hollywood actor who is hiding his super powers from the world, yet wants to play the super hero Wonder Man. It serves as an origin story of sorts for this hero and takes a more grounded look into the Marvel universe. Many fans are wondering what’s next for Simon and if there’s any hints to his future in the show’s final scenes. Does Wonder Man have a post-credits scene? What happens at the end of this show? Let’s get into it.

First, we are sad to report that Wonder Man does not have a post-credits scene. Once the show ends, it is totally over. There are no hints at future projects nor any indication that we will see Wonder Man ever again. But, we can chat a bit about how the show ends. Simon does achieve his dream of portraying his beloved childhood superhero Wonder Man on the big screen in a reboot film. However, the moment is bittersweet considering that his newfound friend, Trevor Slattery, took the fall for him after Simon accidentally destroyed a soundstage.

Simon finds Trevor and they fly away through the roof of the building to parts unknown. It’s pretty safe to say that Simon has pretty much tanked his chances of being an actor. That guy and now presumably everyone knows that he has superpowers now. So, what will Simon and Trevor do? Who knows. It would be nice if Simon could somehow link up with other Marvel heroes and find his new destiny there. But we don’t have any real connective tissue that would suggest that happening. So, there you have it. It is… an ending indeed.
