CRITICAL ROLE Matt Mercer Miniature Arrives with Signature Look

Tiny Furniture brings good tidings, Critters. While getting Critical Role’s Matt Mercer to DM for you and your friends is probably never going to happen, a tiny, ornamental version of him is well within reach! Steepled fingers included, of course. Yes, a Matt Mercer miniature is here… Or at least, the means to create him. Tiny Furniture’s new four-piece Critical Role set puts good ‘ol Matt where he most belongs: behind a DM screen, mid-dramatic pause. This set of 3D-printing files includes schematics for a table, a DM screen, Mini-Matt Mercer, and a throne—fitting for Critical Role‘s King of Storytelling.

This Matt Mercer miniature comes with all the fixings we’d want for our favorite Critical Role DM. The throne is high-backed, crimson-tufted, and threaded with gold to really pull off that royal aesthetic. Speaking of gold, the DM screen that comes with the set is gold as well, inlaid with blood-red d20s. The table itself is modeled to look like a d20, so we’re talking dice and gold everywhere, baby. In the picture Tiny Furniture provided on Instagram, Mini-Matt Mercer is in a bog-standard Matt outfit, stone-washed jeans, gray tennis shoes, and a simple dark gray t-shirt. He’s also rocking some scruff, but I think that’s up to individual taste. Regardless: he’s adorable.

If you’re a big Critical Role fan, you can pick this Matt Mercer miniature up at Tiny Furniture’s MyMiniFactory page. This is a cute set to keep by your usual D&D stomping grounds, a talisman of good luck to enterprising DMs hoping to be able to hold fast and maintain a straight-face with their table-goers—something Matt usually manages pretty well on Critical Role. Or maybe that’s just compared to Brennen Lee Mulligan; hard to say.

Failing that, a little workshopping could turn your Matt Mercer miniature into a Critical Role Christmas tree ornament, making sure every older relative in your life will lower their glasses to peer at the figure and ask you, “Who is this guy supposed to be?”
