Life can feel pretty grim these days, so finding bright spots in the darkness is more important than ever. Lucky for us, E3 delivered one of the most joyful shared experiences of the year when Nintendo dropped new information about their upcoming games, Pokémon Sword and Shield. Nestled among the goodies was the reveal of a Pokémon that goes by the name Yamper. He’s technically an “electric species Pokémon” but let’s be real: This little guy is a corgi and we’re head-over-heels in love with him.
And we’re certainly not the only ones. The internet lost its collective mind over Yamper and his adorable little heart-shaped butt.

It may be hard out there, but we’ll always have our heart-butted corgi Pokémon, who is a very good boy.
