Watch CLUE with the Nerdist Team!

Clear your schedule this Friday evening—oh wait, it’s already clear since you’re staying home? Perfect. Everyone here at Nerdist invites you to join us for the first of regular watchalongs! We want to hang out with you virtually, following all the guidelines for COVID-19 social distancing. And we’re going to kick these watchalongs off with a real cracker of a movie: Clue!

The cast of Clue questions murderParamount

The 1985 film directed by Jonathan Lynn stars a dream ensemble cast: Tim Curry, Eileen Brennan, Madeline Kahn, Christopher Lloyd, Michael McKean, Martin Mull, and Lesley Ann Warren. A black comedy-mystery inspired by the board game of the same name, Clue will make you laugh about murder as you never have before. Bonus: you’ll be happier than ever to be safe at home and not attending fancy parties at mansions.

The guests at a mysterious party—who are mostly strangers to each other, by the way—all have secrets. Those secrets get them in trouble when a blackmailing fiend asks one of them to commit murder. He’ll spill their secrets if they don’t. Insert dramatic music here. Even though someone in the mansion is a killer (or are they?), the tone is absurd and just wonderful.
