Exclusive MARVEL’S CLOAK AND DAGGER Art Shines a Light in the Darkness

We’ve teamed up with Freeform and Marvel to bring you exclusive art from some of the comics’ most impressive artists highlighting each new episode of Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger.

So far, we’ve shown off work from the likes of Khary Randolph and Emilio Lopez as well as Afua Richardson. This week’s image is illustrated by David Nakayama. David has created stunning cover art for books like Iron Man, Hulk, and Spider-Man, and also All-New Ultimates #9, starring none other than Cloak and Dagger. So it’s no surprise that his poster for this week’s brand new episode, “Rabbit Hole,” also puts the pair front and center.

Exclusive MARVEL’S CLOAK AND DAGGER Art Shines a Light in the Darkness_1

There’s no more iconic image of Cloak and Dagger than that of Dagger at home in the darkness. Just like the comics, Tandy bravely steps into the darkness that resides inside Tyrone’s cloak, using his teleportation powers on her mission to save those in trouble. But she might not be prepared for what she finds on the other side.

In the comics, Tandy is the only one who can safely enter the folds of Cloak’s billowing garment; her light was a form of sustenance when we first met the characters in the pages of Marvel Comics. What effect will the shadowy powers of Tyrone have when Tandy enters the cloak on Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger? We’ll have to tune in to find out!

Here’s what we can expect to see in this week’s newest installment of the Marvel series:

Still on her quest to find out more about the sex trafficking ring, Tandy takes a dangerous trip to find Mayhem, who may have the answers she is looking for. Meanwhile, Tyrone’s past actions catch up to him and put Adina in harm’s way.

Tune into Freeform at 8 PM ET on April 18 for the next exciting episode of Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger.
