Being chased by dinosaurs is no laughing matter, but trying to crack up your Jurassic World: Fallen KingdomOpens in a new tab co-star is. And that’s what Chris PrattOpens in a new tab and Bryce Dallas HowardOpens in a new tab did when they sat down in a battle of self-control over some (pre)historically bad dinosaur dad jokes.
The Hook asked the two stars of the latest dino blockbuster to take part in their “No Laugh Challenge,” where they went back-and-forth with some very silly, very pun-ny jokes—the kind your dad is definitely going to be telling you all summer. However, even funnier than watching two big Hollywood stars deliver some of the dumbest lines ever is watching Howard have no idea why they are even jokes in the first place, leading her to botching the punchlines in the best ways possible.
Okay, some of those jokes genuinely made us laugh, but not as much as listening to Howard’s own wonderful laugh. These two are so delightful and charming it’s a shame they are always running for their lives in these movies instead of just getting to hang out. That’s why we demand they make Jurassic World 3 a comedy where these two get to be funny instead of terrified.
At this point doesn’t the franchise Owen us that much? Sorry, was it Claire that was our attempt at a bad dad joke? And could someone explain why to Bryce Dallas Howard for us?
