Bet that you didn’t know that today is Felix the Cat day!! Yep, Felix the Cat is one of the longest standing pop culture icons. He predates even that most famous of rodents, Mickey Mouse. If you live in Los Angeles you’ve probably driven past the Felix Chevrolet dealership more times than you can count; if you’re a cartoon aficionado you’ve likely seen the anthropomorphic cat in his popular silent shorts which led the charge of the early 20th century animation movement; and if you grew up in the ’90s you were likely a fan of his cult cartoon.
It’s been an incredible 100 years since Felix first debuted in the short Feline Follies. To celebrate, Universal has teamed up with a bunch of cool brands to build a celebratory line of super rad clothes.
