Prime Video is preparing for the long hot summer of being indoors with a series of classic B-Movies and the sophomore season of an underrated action gem! Basically you’ll find plenty to love in their slim but solid July offerings.
Hollow Man (July 1st)

Paul Verhoeven has made some weird and wonderful movies in his time. But Hollow Man is rarely seen on his best of list. It’s not because it’s not enjoyable—it is—but it’s because it’s a grimy little horror movie that reimagines the Invisible Man as a misogynistic villain. If you’ve never checked out this ’00s Kevin Bacon flick it’ll be heading to Prime Video in July.
Hanna: Season 2 (July 3rd)

Adapting Joe Wright’s cult film of the same name this first season of Hanna was unfairly overlooked when it dropped on Amazon a couple of years ago. The second season continues the story of the child assassin as she joins an elite academy of young killers. It’s a distinct change in turn but Esme Creed-Miles is a stunning lead and if the writing, action directions, and stunt choreography are anything like last season it’ll be an engaging watch.
Vivarium (July 11th)
Vertigo Releasing
If you’re a fan of The Twilight Zone and hate the housing market then Vivarium is for you. Jesse Eisenberg and Imogen Poots star in this chilling and surreal tale of a young couple who go to visit a new home only to become trapped in a terrifying cycle of suburban hell. Stylish and strange this is a truly unique look at the horror of being an adult.
