BEEF Season 2 Trailer Has Lots of Beefin’ at the Country Club

They say revenge is a dish best served cold. Is it the healthiest way to deal with your problems? Eh, probably not. But a little rage is kinda cathartic every once in a while. That’s probably why Beef became such a hit. Get ready to air your grievances, because the series is back. Only this time, it’s ditching the parking lot and heading to the green. Thursday, Netflix and A24 released a teaser and first-look images at Beef season two, featuring a brand new cast.

With a new cast comes a new beef. Newly-engaged couple Ashley Miller (Cailee Spaeny) and Austin Davis (Charles Melton) both work at their local Country Club. Things get awkward when they witness an alarming fight between the club’s general manager (Oscar Isaac) and his wife (Carey Mulligan). The two couples vie for the favor of the club’s billionaire owner, Chairwoman Park (Youn Yuh-jung), who is gripped with a scandal of her own involving her second husband (Song Kang-ho). It’s a generational battle.

The teaser feels a bit more intense than the tone of season one, but exhilarating, nonetheless. Season one was a blistering battle where one quick encounter of road rage snowballed into a mind-consuming, all-out feud. Lee Sung Jin returns as the showrunner for season two of the anthology series.

While Ali Wong and Steven Yeun were hatefully fantastic in season one, the new cast looks just as promising. Oscar Issac and Carey Mulligan? Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny? Come on. We all saw Frankenstein. We know Issac’s got some rage in him. Take a look at some of the first-look images Netflix released below.
