AVENGERS Fan-Made Tribute Video Honors the Team’s Founding Members

We don’t know much about Avengers: Endgame’s plot, besides the fact that the survivors of Thanos’ snap are all very bitter and depressed now. They’ll try to take their pain out on the big purple guy and restore those who were snapped. But this time, they have Captain Marvel to help them.

One other thing we do know is that the focus is going to be on our original team of superheroes: the Avengers as they were in the 2012 film. The six heroes who stood in the middle of the Battle of New York as a camera panned around for a now iconic circular shot: Hulk, Captain America, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Iron Man, and Thor. They stopped Loki’s forces from taking control of the planet and sent him back to Asgard. Now, they need to restore staggering amounts of life to the universe.

Now, via Laughing Squid, we’ve learned about a very touching and well made tribute video to the six founding members titled Avengers – Six. YouTuber Top Screen shared the video (they have plenty of Marvel tribute videos on their channel) showcasing footage from most of the Avengers-centric MCU films and then some. The video features clips from the first two Avengers films, as well as the Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America trilogies. And of course, that’s all intercut with several scenes from both Infinity War and the most recent Endgame trailers.

Despite the fact that characters such as Captain Marvel, War Machine, Rocket, Nebula, and Okoye all have parts to play in Endgame, our hunch is that the big emotional arc of the film will be all about the founding members of the Avengers. We think the newer characters will become the backbone for the New Avengers or whatever they end up being called. But if this is indeed the grand finale of the MCU as we know it, the focus really should be on the original six.
