HAWKEYE Blu-ray Deleted Scene: Clint and Kate Bishop Go Shopping for Arrows and Boomerangs

It’s the most wonderful time of the year and this holiday season Disney has an all-new way for MCU fans to watch one of the franchise’s best shows. It’s a show that just so happened to take place during Christmas. Hawkeye is the among the latest batch of Disney+ series getting its very own collector’s edition 4K UHD Blu-ray. And with the home release hitting stores today, Nerdist is getting into the festive spirit, too. We have an exclusive look at a bonus Hawkeye Blu-ray deleted scene. It features a very recognizable Clint and a lot less famous Kate Bishop shopping for arrows. And, because someone refuses to give up on one very specific dream, they’re also in the market for boomerangs.

Our favorite sharpshooting duo is back in this entertaining Hawkeye deleted scene. This bonus from the show’s new 4K UHD Blu-ray home release features Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton and Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop popping into a big box store to purchase every arrow in stock. That takes way more time (and aggravation) than the famous Avenger would like when the cashier starts fanboying out.

At least he does over Hawkeye. Kate’s slightly desperate efforts to be acknowledged as Clint’s partner don’t exactly work.

What does work in this fantastic little scene is the final joke. It ends with Kate saying she’s not willing to give up on her idea for a “boomerang arrow.” That’s a reference to a previous moment on the show when the two discussed the merits of that type of novelty arrow. It was also a great Easter egg. In Marvel Comics’ Clint has long and enthusiastically used a boomerang arrow. The MCU flipped the characters’ opinions on such a seemingly ridiculous weapon much to our delight.

We love these two. That cashier might only love Hawkeye, but we love both of them. Just like we love home releases of our favorite shows. Especially ones that include great deleted scenes.

Loki Season Two, Hawkeye Season One, Ahsoka Season One, and The Mandalorian Season Three will be released on 4K UHD Blu-ray for the first time on December 3.
