Here’s a little more about the game:

The Star Wars Villainous game utilizes the same game system as previous Villainous releases, with new gameplay elements to fully immerse players in the Star Wars galaxy. Depending on their villain’s unique power, players will use their Villain’s “Ambition” to perform actions that power effects based on the Villain’s use of the Force, strategic leadership, or sheer luck. The game also incorporates Villain-specific missions and rules for iconic ships and transports from all corners of the Star Wars galaxy.

Players ready to take on the dark side, get ready. When you settle down for a night of Villainous, you can choose from a bevy of evil. The villains include Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, General Grievous, Asajj Ventress, and Moff Gideon. The Star Wars franchise overflows with bad characters. Plus, it’s really cool to see villains from across the Star Wars canon. That includes baddies across the films to Clone Wars foes to our latest big bad, The Mandalorian‘s Moff Gideon.

Each playable character comes with their own set of goals and objectives. The game requires just two to four players ages 10 and up.

“Fans have been asking for a Star Wars-themed Villainous game for years,” Florian Baldenhofer, International Category Manager for family and strategy games at Ravensburger, said in a press release. “Our team spent more than a year diving into the characters and their stories in order to respectfully translate them into gameplay and we’re thrilled with the outcome.”

Ravensburgers’ Disney Villainous game is a fun way to get into the mindset of our favorite villains. And, of course, our Loki-loving hearts love playing as the Trickster God in Marvel Villainous. Adding the dynamic foes from a galaxy far, far away is a dream come true. An evil dream, that is.

Star Wars Villainous: Power of the Dark Side debuts in August 2022 at all major retailers. So start flexing those dark side muscles now. The time to break bad is fast approaching.
