Ant-Man and the WaspOpens in a new tab, the third and final Marvel Studios movie of 2018, isn’t expected to match the oversized success of its immediate predecessors, but it may be just the thing we need after Infinity War snapped the MCU as we knew it. Thus far, critics have been very happy with the first MCU flick after Infinity War. But it’s not all sunshine and roses in the microverse. IGN’s reviewOpens in a new tab had some pointed complaints about the film’s depiction of the Quantum Realm, which was more visually stunning in Doctor StrangeOpens in a new tab. IGN also cautions anyone expecting Infinity War developments to temper their expectations. This isn’t a film that has intergalactic consequences, but the stakes are real for both of the titular characters. However, we do strongly suggest you stick around for the post-credit scenes.
