Merlin’s beard, those are some incredible magical creaturesOpens in a new tab, and they are even cuter than we thought they would be when Eddie Redmayne announced at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con they would be in the movie. Despite being different colors, all four are the offspring of the niffler that stole the first film.
So are baby nifflers born as valuable-stealing beasts, or do they learn from their mother? We’re not sure yet, but this week Entertainment Weekly hadOpens in a new tab the first look at them in the movie, and it doesn’t look like the thieving apple falls far from the niffler tree.
