DOUBLE DARE is Going on a Live Tour With Original Host Marc Summers

Earlier this summer, the classic series Double Dare received a new lease on life from Nickelodeon, and now the game show is hitting the road. And while original host Marc Summers has taken a secondary role on the Double Dare revival series, he’ll once again be stepping into his familiar hosting role on this tour. And Summers will also be joined by his longtime sidekick, Robin Russo.

Nickelodeon has officially announced the Double Dare Live live stage tour will begin on October 30 and run through multiple cities in North America before wrapping up in November. Much like the show that spawned it, Double Dare Live will put two teams on stage to compete for prizes by tackling trivia questions or the infamous physical challenges. And what incarnation of Double Dare would be complete without the obstacle course? That will also be a big part of the stage show.

Double Dare Live tickets will go on sale this Friday, August 24 at the official tour site. There will also be opportunities to buy Double Dare VIP Experience tickets, which will give fans the chance to meet Summers and Russo while posing for photos in addition to getting the best seats for the show. But perhaps the most enticing part is that the Double Dare producers will soon begin looking for participants for the live show. The official sign up period begins on October 1.

Speaking of, did you ever see Kyle Hill compete in Double Dare?

Are you excited to see Double Dare Live hit the road this fall? Will you and a friend try out for the show? You can take the physical challenge or leave a comment for us below!
