Who Dies in SCREAM 7? Ghostface Collects A LOT of Fresh Meat

Scream 7 gave us a LOT of slicing and dicing for some pretty gruesome deaths. These Ghostfaces were certainly busy as they took their killing spree from Woodsboro to Sidney’s new town of Piney Grove. While the biggest question is always who the killers are in a Scream film, many also wanna know who didn’t make it out alive. So, who died in Scream 7? Did we lose any of our legacy characters? Let’s get into it.

Sidney, Gale, Mindy, and Chad All Survived Scream 7

This is probably not shocking to anyone, but Sidney Prescott and Gale Weathers managed to survive yet another Ghostface killing spree. They are the stars of the franchise and will certainly return for Scream 8. And, to be honest, there was no way that Neve Campbell would return to the franchise to just die. I thought there was a chance that either Mindy or Chad would die in Scream 7 but alas, they are both alive and building their careers as reporters/videographers alongside Gale. We assume they would return for a future sequel as well.

The Opening Act Kills, Of Course: Scott and Madison Die at Stu Macher’s House

There is indeed an opening act slaughter for Scream 7. Stab superfan Scott convinced his girlfriend Madison to spend the night at Stu Macher’s house, which is now a museum/Airbnb for the real-life murders. A Ghostface animatronic puts Madison on edge but she continues to stick around to make her boyfriend happy.

However, Ghostface appears and stabs Scott to death before chasing Madison up the stairs. She manages to shove him over the railing to make him fall and hangs from the chandelier. She cannot get back to the railing and as she falls, Ghostface rolls over and stabs her. Madison isn’t dead yet and Ghostface douses her and the floors with gasoline, setting everything on fire. It’s a gruesome way to go.

Sidney’s Daughter Tatum Survived But ALL Her Friends Are Dead

We’d dare say that Tatum had a terrible time in Scream 7. The poor girl was terrified, woefully unprepared to fight Ghostface, and all of her friends died. Like every single one of them. Oh, and her boyfriend is dead too. Let’s list them out.

Paramount Pictures

Ben Brown (Tatum’s Boyfriend)

Tatum’s boyfriend seemed a little suspect, but he was just a brooding teen who looked 30 years old. She rightfully believes he’s behind the killings after seeing a video on his laptop of him making a deepfake video with Stu’s face, and she knocks him out. He later finds her in downtown Piney Grove, but Ghostface appears and stabs him mercilessly as Tatum watches. Welp!

Hannah Thurman and Aaron Die in a Theater

In a clear homage to Scream 2, Tatum’s friend Hannah dies while suspended in the air during a theater rehearsal. First, Ghostface kills poor Aaron, a classmate who is controlling the system, off screen before jerking Hannah around a few times. Then he slices at her while she swings from side to side until her guts are on the floor. We knew this was coming because, well, we literally saw it in a trailer.

Chloe Parker and Lucas Bowden Go From Suspects to Dead Meat

Tatum’s friends, boyfriend, and the Meeks twins all gather together at a tavern to see who is the most suspicious. That award goes to Lucas, Sidney’s teenage neighbor who happens to be obsessed with true crime and the Woodsboro murders. Chloe is just kinda… there to check the Black friend box.

Ghostface soon arrives, attacking Chloe before she sorta accidentally dies when a piece of glass gets stuck into her neck. Lucas is also killed by Ghostface before his head is impaled on a sharp beer tap. Yikes. The Meeks twins are just injured and out of it, and we don’t see them anymore until the end of the movie. Great plot armor!

Paramount Pictures

Karl Gibbs, the Ghostface Accomplice, Dies By Vehicular Manslaughter

Thank God for Gale Weathers. Sidney, Mark, and Tatum were fighting for their lives against a Ghostface killer who infiltrated their homes. He gets knocked into the street in front of their house and Gale steps on the gas, running over him and killing him instantly.

Ghostface Killers Jessica Bowden and Marco Davis Both Die in Scream 7

Once again, a Ghostface killer does not make it out alive of a Scream movie. Sidney’s neighbor Jessica is obsessed with her and wants to bring out her inner final girl again. Not only that, she wanted Tatum to become Sidney 2.0. But the mom-daughter duo made sure she’d never see another day, shooting her in the face so many times that it fell off.

Sidney quickly dispatches Marco, the employee from Fallbrook, with a shot to the head. It looked like Mark Evans, Sid’s husband, was close to death but he pulled through. Good for him.

That’s who dies in Scream 7. Rest in peace people whom we barely knew and will not miss.
