After a long and, at times, arduous award season, the end is officially in sight. On Monday, Issa Rae and John Cho announced the nominees for the 92nd Academy AwardsOpens in a new tab, formally narrowing the speculation game to its final contenders. There are two subsets of Oscars viewers. The first go into the award show rooting for the nominated films and performances they got around to seeing during the year.
