Blumhouse is one of the most exciting names in horror right now. The studio, fronted by Jason Blum, has brought us everything from Paranormal Activity to the new Halloween movie to Get Out. The Blumhouse name gets us excited about a new project, and rightfully so. It’s a name associated with quality and big box office numbers–for projects that cost very little to make.
Enter Welcome to the Blumhouse. The new title is a joint effort from Blumhouse Television and Amazon Studios. It’s a series of eight films from talented directors and performers. The first four arrive on Amazon this October, and we have our first look in this new teaser trailer.
Holy hell does this thing look amazing! And we’re loving that new track, “What’s Up” by FJØRA, a reimagining of Linda Perry’s original song.
