Universal Orlando’s upcoming roller coaster ride is gonna go through a quarter mile pretty darn fast and furious. Yep, you already know what we are about to tell you. The famed theme park will have its own Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift outdoor roller coaster for fans in Orlando to enjoy. The one at Universal Studios Hollywood is coming in 2026, and Universal Orlando will follow up with its Fast & Furious ride sometime in 2027.

In the spirit of Dom Turetto, you’ve gotta experience this adventure, which goes at a top speed of 72MPH, with your family. Here’s a description from Universal about what thrill seekers can expect:
“Riders will experience the exhilarating sensation of 360-degree drifting as they speed through jaw-dropping maneuvers – including a 170-foot vertical “spike” that will send riders nearly 17 stories in the air over the outskirts of Universal CityWalk.”
According to Deadline, the current Fast & Furious – Supercharged attraction will permanently close in 2027. Hollywood Drift will replace Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit. Check out the video below for even more details and a concept look at this new Fast & Furious ride.
