Watch TRICK ‘R TREAT with Nerdist and Legendary!

Times are tough right now. We welcome distractions. We welcome gathering virtually in lieu of in person. And those online meet-ups can lead to cool opportunities—like earlier this year, with the Monsterverse Watchalong!  We watched Godzilla with director Gareth Edwards; Kong: Skull Island, where director Jordan Vogt-Roberts shared behind-the-scenes moments; and Godzilla: King of the Monsters with director Mike Dougherty. Now, just in time for Halloween, Mr. Dougherty is back to help us get our candy on during our watchalong of anthology favorite Trick ‘r Treat. It’s Friday October 30 at 7:00 PM Pacific.

In Trick ‘r Treat, we see five interlocking tales of terror with a devilish sense of humor. These include: a high school principal’s secret life as a serial killer; a group of kids play a prank on a Halloween-loving outsider with ghostly results; a woman who hates Halloween gets more than she bargained for; a timid young woman and her adventurous friends meet some sketchy guys at a party; and a curmudgeon must face the very real spirit of Halloween itself. The cast includes the likes of Brian Cox, Anna Paquin, Dylan Baker, Leslie Bibb and more!
