If you’re looking for a way to put a fun spin on that duo, then this pizza joint in Brooklyn has just what you need. Vinnie’s Pizzeria has created a tomato soup pizza complete with grilled cheese sandwiches lining its crust.
The yummy and odd concoction’s construction is on New York Nico’s TikTok page. In case you are wondering (and we are sure you are wondering) if there’s hot, runny soup poured on top of bread, that’s not what’s going on. The tomato soup part of this pizza with grilled cheese is actually a creamier take on tomato sauce. It goes pretty light on the cheese on top because, well, you can just take a mini sandwich from its edges. There’s also something incredibly soothing about watching this video, too.
I sadly do not live in New York but I am already plotting on a way to somehow re-create this in my own kitchen. Will it taste as good? Probably not. Will I be proud of myself for attempting to make a tomato soup and grilled cheese pizza? Absolutely.
