Kevin’s Star Wars character impressions went viral after the young performer posted the above video to his TikTok account. As of this writing, the TikTok video has racked up nearly one million views, and is already up to 300,000 on TwitterOpens in a new tab.
In Kevin’s video, he imitates Obi-Wan, Anakin, Maul, Lando, Kylo Ren, Han Solo, Palpatine, and Tarkin, and somehow each impression is better than the last. Just kidding: his Kylo RenOpens in a new tab is definitely the best. Although he does deliver the same “I love it when you call me señorita” line for each character. (It’s a reference to a Shawn MendesOpens in a new tab song as well as a meme. And yes, needing to look that up made us feel old.)

Despite the extraordinary reaction Kevin’s video has already garnered, it seems the feedback he’s been most excited about comes from one person: Hank GreenOpens in a new tab, the vlogger, author, and entrepreneur. In a subsequent TikTok video (above) Kevin called out Green for commenting on his video, with a palpable joy.
And for those of you who felt like Kevin’s Obi-Wan was a bit of a miss, the impressionist—who’s actually studying industrial systems engineering—went back for a second try. In the video below, Kevin re-delivers his “señorita” line in Obi-Wan’s voice and captures it perfectly. Which means, of course, it’s time for Kevin to move onto sounds made by blasters and droidsOpens in a new tab.
