X-FILES Fan Contest Will Let Superfan Find the Truth in a Secret Location

The truth is out there… and it lies within the episodes of The X-Files. The iconic sci-fi investigation series ran for a whopping eleven seasons, gaining generations of fans. And, with Ryan Coogler’s X-Files reboot gaining steam, now is the perfect time to marathon watch the original series. You can always check it out in your own living room and stream it all on Pluto TV. But, if you’re an X-Files superfan (a true X-Phile, if you will), then you could enter “The Fan Is Out There” contest by Pluto TV and watch it in a remote and undisclosed location.

Pluto TV

Starting today, Pluto TV is running a contest for true believers to win a trip to the Joshua Tree desert for nine days. That winner and a pal will be able to binge the entire show with lots of snacks and even a few debriefing sessions. It’s the perfect opportunity to tap into your inner Scully or Mulder as you dig into the unknown.

The off-grid location includes the following:

  • A living case board to track patterns, connections, and conspiracies across all 218 episodes
  • Themed provisions including black coffee, sunflower seeds, and paranormal paraphernalia
  • Daily on-camera debriefing confessionals for social documentation
  • Classified details still under wraps

Head over to this “The Fan Is Out There” link starting March 10 at 11AM ET until March 20 at 11:59PM ET to get your submission in. That website will have all the official contest rules and details for you to read up on. And, even if you aren’t chosen as the biggest X-Phile on Earth, you can watch The X-Files marathon on Pluto TV on April 20, no subscription necessary.
