Have you ever heard a song and thought it perfectly explained a plotline of Star Wars? Well, I hadn’t until I saw this comic by Liber Libeluna which sets the age-old story of Obi-Wan Kenobi to Gloria Gaynor’s classic hit “I Will Survive”.
The piece manages to capture the heartbreak of Obi-Wan’s relationship with Anakin set to the well-known opening lyrics of “I Will Survive”. But as the comic continues on, adding in some provocative pelvic thrusts and passionate pleading, it gets even better!

Big fan of the dance moves while holding baby Luke and baby Leia. Most impressive! As we continue, the pelvic thrusts begin to get overly dramatic. Obi-Wan’s anger with Darth Vader is becoming pretty evident. But Darth Vader can’t help but bob his head as well. It’s a catchy song.

But wait, it’s not over. Did you actually think he would lay down and die? Nope!

Wow. That’s really all there is to say. The more I think about it, the more this mash-up makes complete sense. Did she write this song about Star Wars? Was she thinking of Obi-Wan? Will I ever get those images of Obi-Wan’s pelvic thrusts out of my head?
Check out the full comic over on Tumblr, DeviantArt, or Imgur to get the whole experience, pelvic thrusts and all! Thank you LiberLibelula, I have to go wash out my brain now!
Do you think there’s a better song that covers the whole Star Wars experience? Let us know in the comments!
