We’ll be honest, we’ve never quite seen a release schedule quite like this. It reminds us a bit of the Stranger Things method. But, while Stranger Things was a complex series, it doesn’t hold a candle to The Rings of Power. The Rings of Power‘s episodes are usually about an hour and a FULL hour at that. Releasing four hours of season three at once in the middle of the week feels like quite an ask of viewers. That’s a lot of lore and action to process at once. But perhaps fans will enjoy being able to sink their teeth into a good amount of the story without a wait. We also feel a bit sad that the season will premiere and conclude in only three weeks. But who knows, perhaps this The Rings of Power season three release schedule will really suit the story of the series this season. In this case, the near holiday release schedule does seem like a pretty good idea, as it will allow viewers to catch up on the full show during their time off.
