A STAR WARS REBELS Character Could Be Coming to THE MANDALORIAN

Jon Favreau’s The Mandalorian, the first ever live-action Star Wars series, is still at least a year away from premiering on Disney’s new streaming service. The show, which stars Pedro Pascal, is in the middle of production right now, and rebel spies are coming back from the set with rumors of what we can expect from the show. We know the series is set in the time period between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens, but now there are whispers of a special someone who might make a surprise appearance–a figure last seen in Star Wars Rebels. A report from Making Star Wars points to a popular character from the ever-growing world beyond just the movies reappearing on The Mandalorian. On today’s (possibly spoiler-y) Nerdist News, host Jessica Chobot takes a look at the possible reemergence of Sabine Wren.[brightcove video_id=”5981176790001″ brightcove_account_id=”3653334524001″ brightcove_player_id=”rJs2ZD8x”]Even if this report doesn’t turn out to be exactly who we think and hope it will be, the show using that advanced CGI-capture technology is still pretty exciting on its own. It’s the real-life equivalent of making an animated idea into a live-action reality. And we’re definitely excited for who that could truly bring to life. What do you think of this report? Do you think we could see this popular “rebel” appear on The Mandalorian, or will it be a different character we’ve never met before?
