Kaitlyn Dever Confirms THE LAST OF US Season 3 Will Show Abby’s POV

The Last of Us season three is getting ready to go into production. And we have so many questions about where this story will go, especially with Abby. Season 2 ended on a massive cliffhanger with Abby confronting Ellie at the Seattle theater. Abby kills Jesse and holds Tommy at gunpoint, which makes Ellie come out from hiding. The screen cuts to black before the last minutes of the episode show Abby at the WLF’s base. “Seattle Day 1” is on screen, which means that we will likely have to relive a few days from Abby’s POV. Actor Kaitlyn Dever spoke to Deadline about what to expect from The Last of Us season three, but don’t worry. She’s not spoiling a thing but still giving us answers.

However, her comment does confirm that Abby will play a much larger role in this next season. “I’m getting mentally and physically prepped right now. I go up in a couple days, actually, to start prep over there. I’m so excited to kind of take on a much bigger role in the season,” she said.

Very interesting, indeed. Dever spoke more on taking this short trip back in time, saying “The fans are really going to like it, I think, the shifting perspective onto Abby, getting some more context onto her storyline and going back in time with this season. So, I’m very excited for the fans to see it.”
