Mario, Yoshi, and Friends Return to Build-A-Bear

It’sa me, Beario! Mario and his friends have returned to Build-a-Bear after their successful 2017 team-up with their fuzzy friends. Snuggly stuffed animals can wear costumes of Princess Peach and your favorite plumbers (not  Waluigi; sorry dude, it’s just not your year), or you can pick a Bowser or Yoshi to fill with fluff. This year a limited edition Blue Yoshi joins the super lineup. Not only are the plush dolls soft and colorful, they also have little accessories that really make the Super Mario Build-a-Bear line stand out. From Yoshi’s favorite fruit in the Blue Yoshi Gift set, to the squishable  Piranha Plant plushie, to the little mushroom you can add to any stuffed doll’s ensemble, Build-a-Bear’s little details are impressive. Build-a-Bear has been knocking it out of the park recently with their pop culture characters. A recently announced collection inspired by Into the Spider-Verse places Miles Morales and Spider-Gwen in Build-a-Bear stores everywhere, and you probably remember their amazing Pokémon,  Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and even Guardians of the Galaxy bear costumes and plush collectibles. If Build-a-Bear is trying to reach an older audience beyond lucky kiddos by picking some of pop culture’s most beloved characters, they are absolutely succeeding. We have this really weird, irresistible urge to snuggle Bowser. The new Super Mario Build-a-Bear Blue Yoshi set is priced at $39.95 plus tax; Blue Yoshi and Yoshi by themselves are $25.50 plus tax. Visit the Build-a-Bear website for a full list of how many coins you’ll need to collect to power up your Super Mario collection.Which pop culture characters would you love to make into a teddy bear?
