What Happens When You Call the Number on STRANGER THINGS 5’s Eleven Missing Poster?

Netflix sent fans into a frenzy during their major reveal of what to expect in 2025. While everyone loves Wednesday and Squid Games, the real big news would be anything related to Stranger Things 5. It is the last season and will bring the story of Eleven, Mike, and the crew to an end. While there wasn’t a release date reveal nor a teaser, the streaming service did offer a tidbit about Stranger Things 5 in the form of a missing person flyer for Eleven with a phone number that reveals some shocking information.

What Is on the Stranger Things 5 Missing Person Flyer for Jane Hopper (Eleven)?

The flyer reveals a few tidbits of information about Eleven, including her birthday (June 7) and the last time she was seen in Hawkins. That was on June 13, 1986 near Hawkins High School, which is only a couple of months after the season four finale. (All of those events took place in March 1986, supposedly.) Why was Eleven near Hawkins High School that day? And, how did she go missing? Is she really missing? Who is looking for her? It would be pretty hard to get her enrolled back in school considering 1) there are still evil people out there who are probably looking for her  2) June is summer time and 3) there’s a whole battle to save Hawkins going on.

It is not too strange that they are calling her Jane Hopper. She did get a birth certificate at the end of season two, so that is her legal name. She was supposed to hide for a year and then start living a normal life in Hawkins but, well, season three’s fiasco happened and she ended up moving to California and living with the Byers family instead. I guess no one is looking for her there for whatever reason…

There’s a $3,000 reward by Hawkins Police Department (allegedly) for any information that leads to her location or her body. Very ominous indeed. Stranger Things 5 takes place in the fall of 1987 (as the above video clip says in its description), so that’s over a year since her supposed disappearance. We don’t know what it means, but it sounds fun. Perhaps that date is a hint that we will get Stranger Things 5 on June 13, which happens to be a Friday the 13th.

What Happens When You Call the Phone Number on Eleven’s Stranger Things 5 Missing Poster?

When you call the number, 765-303-2020, it goes to a recorded message from the Hawkins Police Department, which is apparently looking for Jane Hopper (Eleven). Here’s what the Stranger Things 5 missing poster phone number’s message says the following (as far as we can decipher. The audio is likely intentionally garbled considering it is a ’80s recorded message.):

Thank you for contacting the Hawkins Police Department. Due to the recent 7.4 magnitude earthquake, Hawkins is currently under lock down to ensure the safety of our residents. The Hawkins Emergency Task Force and respondents (??) from the Hawkins PD is trying to locate missing persons (??), of which Jane Hopper is a priority. We urge you as a responsible citizen of Hawkins to assist us in our search to locate her.

This certainly stirs up some anticipation. Based on the part about the earthquake, we can assume this flyer is very recently after the date that Eleven went missing, which would have only been about three months later. But would people still be on lockdown? Who knows.

It is pretty hard to get through on the line to hear it on your own phone, but you can try to call the Stranger Things 5 missing poster number. Good luck! In the meantime, we cannot wait for the show to return in 2025.
