Living harmoniously under the same mouse-shaped umbrella, Star Wars, Disney, and Marvel all bleed into each other in one way or another. We’ve witnessed the crossover time and time again. One talented young actor has had his shot at both Disney and Star Wars, and he’s eyeing up Marvel next. At the 53rd Annual Saturn Awards, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew’s Ravi Cabot-Conyers emphatically says that he wants to join Marvel next.

On March 8, Hollywood came together to celebrate the accolades of science fiction, fantasy, and horror at the 53rd Annual Saturn Awards in Los Angeles. The night honored some of the genres’ biggest pioneers, including George Lucas, Christopher McQuarrie, and William Shatner. Among this years nominees was Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, the franchise’s first ever children-led project. The series and its stars received three nods at the 2026 Saturn Awards, including 15-year-old Ravi Cabot-Conyers, who took home the award for Best Younger Performer in a Television Series. Before joining the Star Wars family, the young actor voiced the youngest of the family Madrigal in Disney’s Encanto. Celebrating his win, Cabot-Conyers answers the question “what do you want to get into next?”
“Oh, Marvel! Marvel, for sure!” he said in the press room we attended during the event. “I had that answer ready. I love Marvel, and I’ve worked with Jon Favreau, who’s a big part of Marvel.”
When asked if there is a specific project he’d want to be a part of, the young actor admitted that Moon Knight is a favorite of his. “Honestly, whatever’s coming up next, I want to be a part of,” he said with a smile. “One of my favorite Marvel series of all time was Moon Knight. If they ever do another of those, I’d be happy to do that.
As mentioned before, it’s certainly not uncommon to see crossover between the Disney-owned franchises. Samuel L. Jackson played both Mace Windu in Star Wars and Nick Fury in the MCU. Natalie Portman is Padmé Amidala in the Star Wars sequel trilogy and Jane Foster in Thor. And there’s many more. (Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Lupita Nyong’o, Jude Law, etc.) So who knows, a Marvel contract may very well be in Cabot-Conyers’ future.

At the Saturns, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew was also nominated for Best New Genre Television Series and Best Supporting Actor (Jude Law). The series is currently moving forward with season two.
