Watch The First Trailer for STAR WARS JEDI: FALLEN ORDER

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order released its long-awaited first trailer at this year’s Star Wars Celebration, and it introduced a new Force user voiced by Gotham‘s Cameron Monaghan.

After first announcing the game way back in 2016 (and after years of worry it would be canceled entirely), Electronic Arts has given us the first look at Respawn Entertainment’s new story of a forgotten padawan named Kal who survived Palpatine’s infamous Order 66, which nearly led to the extinction of the Jedi.

The trailer doesn’t show any in-game footage and instead focuses on Kal and his struggle to remain hidden from the Empire before reengaging with the galaxy’s greatest threat. However, all of the footage was created with the game engine, which gives us an idea of how gorgeous it will be.

Yup, that’s a second sister Inquisitor. YUUUUUP.

Respawn Head Vince Zampella said the game is set during the dark time period between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope and won’t offer multiplayer or have micro-transactions. It’s entirely “a story game” for a single player. We also learned the game features “high level, action melee” –Kal trains with a lightsaber and Force powers– but will require “thoughtful combat” where you have to assess your enemy’s weakness. Jedi: Fallen Order will also feature new planets and new characters, expanding the Star Wars lore even more.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order comes to stores this fall, on November 15, 2019.
