How Did These Incredible New Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 3 Images Come to Life?
Photographer Pari Dukovic began with a completely darkened room in order to accomplish the truly stellar cosmic effect for each individual Star Trek: Strange New Worlds portrait. He then used a standard digital projector mixed with a strobe to achieve the lighting he wanted to create. With this technique, he amplified the actor’s skin and eyes with images of star nebulas and distant galaxies. The projections were different for each person, and each individual actor reacted differently to them. We see wonder, joy, fierce determination, and humming curiosity echo over the different faces of our favorite Star Trek: Strange New Worlds characters and actors.
