Sheila Broflovski Replaces Dana Barrett in a Frantic SOUTH PARK/GHOSTBUSTERS Crossover

If you opened your refrigerator to discover spontaneously exploding eggs and a portal to another world, no one would blame you for shouting, “What what whaaat?!” So when we needed someone who has plenty of experience freaking out to help us recreate that very scene from the original Ghostbusters, we knew who to call: the voice of South Park‘s Sheila Broflovski.

[brightcove video_id=”5803296688001″ brightcove_account_id=”3653334524001″ brightcove_player_id=”rJs2ZD8x”] Mona Marshall was the latest guest to visit our Alpha series Talkin’ Toons, where she and host Rob Paulsen read the Ghostbusters scene where Peter Venkman investigates the strange paranormal happenings in Dana Barrett’s apartment. Rob read for Murray’s Peter Venkman as Donatello (obviously, since he knows machines), with Marshall taking over for Sigourney Weaver’s Dana primarily as Kyle’s notoriously high-strung mom with a penchant for losing her composure.

In a battle between Sheila Broflovski and Zuul, we’ll probably bet on Sheila… but we’d much rather have breakfast with Gozer. It would be a much quieter meal, and maybe Gozer would bring Rick Moranis along. Preferably not as a demon dog.

If you want to see the rest of this interview, full episodes of Talkin’ Toons are only available at our online Alpha community, where we have many more fantastic shows for you to enjoy. Even better? If you’re not already an Alpha member, your first 30 days are totally free when you sign up. And there’s only one thing to say about an offer like that: “What what whaaat?!”
