Sonic the Hedgehog 4 sped into CinemaCon 2026 with just a little teaser footage. In it, we see Maddie and Tom setting up a friendly race between Sonic, Tails, and Shadow. Sonic is hilariously wearing a rubber duck float around his waist. The clip acknowledges the success of this billion dollar franchise.
Then we see Sonic flying through the sky, Knuckles running fast (presumably straight towards chaos), and Amy Rose looking adorable as she wields her hammer.
The Sonic the Hedgehog 4 footage shows the return of Jim Carrey’s Robotnik as he threatens to get back into chaos. It doesn’t give away any specific plot details but it is just enough that makes us even more ready for the film to arrive in theaters on March 19, 2027.
