In the year 2019 we have electric cars that can kind of drive themselves, these rockets that can kind of re-land, and now, advanced species of the 21st century, we have the shoe bicycle. Yes, whatever day you’re reading this on is indeed a blessed day because the shoe bicycle, built by YouTuber The Q—you’ve seen one of his videos, trust—delivers exactly what its name promises: a bicycle with wheels made of running shoes that looks like something Professor Farnsworth would build.
In the video, which comes via Laughing Squid, we watch The Q as he marks out, renders, bends, welds, and finally builds the wheels made of shoes, and needless to say, the whole process is mesmerizing.
