SCREAM 7 TV Spot Shows Ghostface Gunning for Sidney’s Bloodline

The Super Bowl will dominate millions of TV screens across the USA on February 8. That’s a lot of attention, and PR people want to grab their onscreen time. Production companies and brands pay millions of dollars for a spot that’s usually around 30 seconds to a minute long. And, even before the game, they get these clips online to drum up interest and hope for future dollars. That’s what Paramount Pictures is doing with Scream 7, finally giving us another look at the film in a TV spot trailer ahead of its February 27 release. And once again, there’s slicing, dicing, and big hints that this is gonna be a scream, baby.

Much of the clip is what we’ve seen before, so hopefully a more robust trailer is coming in the next couple of weeks. We do get a chilling image of a girl’s body hanging in what appears to be a theater. That’s feels like a callback to Scream 2’s final showdown, which took place in a theater and had Sidney’s then-boyfriend hanging. We also had the big movie theater showdown in Scream VI.

We also get Sidney and Gale having a conversation about what’s going on, with Gale noting that this killer has been planning this for years and the attacks are happening with Tatum being the same age that Sid was during the original murders. We also see Ghostface and hear a voice that sounds a lot like Stu Macher’s voice, which says “this is gonna be fun.” Yikes.

This TV spot trailer also reveals that tickets for Scream 7 go on sale February 9, so fans can get ready to see Sidney face Ghostface once again this month. There will be opening night fan screenings and Scream 7 will even have IMAX releases in select areas! That’s a first for this franchise that is still going strong.
