One thing I really love is a weird yet fun Super Bowl ad. We could all use more laughter in our lives, right? And when you bring together unlikely actors to promote something, that absolutely can happen. SNL alum Bowen Yang, Jon Hamm, and Scarlett Johansson have all teamed up for a Ritz cracker Super Bowl ad that takes us to a party island full of mingling, snacking, and yapping.
Jon and Bowen claim they don’t want any parts of the party, yet they cannot stop eyeballing those delicious buttery crackers. Jon says they will head down for just five minutes, even though Bowen hates the feeling of sand on his feet. They are such a delight, right? Well, that’s where Scarlett pulls up with a sweet ride, a Ritz jet ski, so their feet can remain clean. They pull up at the party and suddenly no one is salty anymore.

It certainly seems like they all had a good time filming this spot. “Collaborating with RITZ® Crackers on this Big Game commercial was such a thrill,” said Scarlett Johansson. “The RITZ® brand is having a lot of fun leaning into its salty side, and the energy of this spot totally reflects that. It’s bold, playful and a little unexpected, and I loved getting to jump in and bring that spirit to life with Jon and Bowen.”

It’s a brief Ritz Super Bowl ad, but it is just enough for me to want Jon Hamm, Bowen Yang, and Scarlett Johansson in a comedy together. Entertainment gods, hear my plea and make sure Ritz gets some advertisement shine in the film. The Super Bowl will air on February 8, so tune in for the Big Game and its ads.
