It’s Groundhog Day. You know what that means. Time to find out… about more adult live comedy shows starring puppets! That’s way more exciting than talking about winter and whether it will stick around. In the below exclusive video, Phil the Groundhog tells us about upcoming return of Brian Henson and Patrick Bristow’s hilarious Puppet Up! – Uncensored. The show, which takes place on the historic The Jim Henson Company Lot, brings together puppets and chaos for a memorable experience.
Brian Henson groundhog content is the only kind of groundhog content we’re here for today.
As far as what Puppet Up! – Uncensored involves, the Henson Alternative production starring the Miskreant Puppets is really two shows in one. You have the puppets on the stage and also projected live on screens above the stage. Then you also have the talented puppeteers racing around beneath them to bring the show to life. That all means antics galore to amuse you and catch your eyes. The set includes improve, with puppets taking suggestions from the audience, but also throws back to some favorites. The show has re-creations of classic pieces originally created by Jim Henson, Jane Henson, and Frank Oz. All in all, it’s a winning combination.
And Puppet Up! – Uncensored returns in March! That’s not so far away at all.
