Paramount and Legendary Celebrated STREET FIGHTER In Style at CinemaCon

After attending CinemaCon 2026, we can say for sure that it is one of the coolest events that includes genre entertainment. From Masters of the Universe to Avengers: Doomsday to Street Fighter, we got to see fresh looks at some of our most highly-anticipated films coming this year. But, the big panels with shining stars like Chris Evans, Michael B. Jordan, and Tom Cruise weren’t the only fun to be had at CinemaCon. Paramount Pictures and Legendary put on a fantastic event for select media attendees to celebrate Street Fighter

The event took place at Caesar’s Palace on April 15 as a cool kickback and trailer launch. We were greeted with the sounds of Nicki Minaj’s “Chun-Li” in a red and white soaked room full of props from the film and gaming nostalgia.

Attendees could sit in bean bag chairs (remember those?) and get into the fight, thanks to a living room like setup where we could play street fighter on a Nintendo. Boom boxes, box TVs, slices of pizza, and very tasty vodka punch made it feel both nostalgic and modern.

The highlight of the event was not only getting to see the cast, some of whom mingled with attendees, chatting about the film with director Kitao Sakurai, but also watching the trailer before it hit the internet the following morning.

The crowd went so darn wild that Sakurai had to run the trailer back for a second viewing! We are incredibly thankful that we were able to be a part of this special event, and we will be putting our quarters up to see this film when Street Fighter hits theaters on October 16.
