Adapting a beloved book for the big screen can be a Sisyphean task unto itself, but trying to bring the fantastical world of Madeleine L’Engle’s Opens in a new tabA Wrinkle in Time to life was full of unforeseen challenges and exhilarating experiences for its stars. Based on the eponymous book, A Wrinkle in Time tells the story of young girl, Meg Murry (Storm Reid), who sets out on a quest across space and time to find her missing father with the help of three celestial beings–Mrs. Which (Oprah Winfrey), Mrs. Who (Mindy Kaling), and Mrs. Whatsit (Reese Witherspoon). The results are a sprawling, sci-fi story that seems destined to become a new favorite of wide-eyed kids everywhere.
