I hold many strong yet controversial food opinions. One that I will defend to the death is that a Wendy’s Frosty is an appropriate drink any time of day. Clearly, the fast-food chain agrees with me too. That’s why it invented the Frosty-ccino. That perfect concoction gave all of us cover to enjoy the sweet treat in the morning without being judged. But now Wendy’s has taken the next step to ensure its signature frozen delight is a part of our breakfast. The burger chain has partnered with Kellogg’s for a limited-edition Frosty Chocolatey Cereal.
Kellogg’s
This cereal will bring the taste of fast food right to the grocery store. Frosty Chocolatey Cereal features chocolate-flavored marshmallow pieces and “crispy, cocoa-coated round cereal bites.” The description of the cereal shares, “each spoonful evokes the irresistible taste of a Wendy’s Frosty.”
I would very much like to have some right now. Roughly an entire crate of some. Unfortunately, I doubt I’ll be able to buy that much since this cereal will only be available as a limited run. (Hopefully, they reconsider.) Worse is that it won’t even hit stores until December. When it does, though, it will include a bonus for Wendy’s customers. Each box comes with an offer to get a free small Frosty or a small Frosty-ccino with any purchase via the store’s app. Either of which you can then use to replace milk for your Wendy’s Frosty cereal. Then you’ll basically be able to enjoy a Frosty inside a Frosty. I am so doing this.
Kellogg’s
When it does hit stores, you can get an 8.3-ounce box for $3.99. Or a family-sized option of 13.2-ounces for $5.69. The latter of which I will consider a “single serving.” One that just like an actual Frosty you can enjoy any time of day.
