Stranger Things 5, Volume 2 is just around the corner. To get us ready for this next batch of episodes from Stranger Things 5‘s final season, Netflix just released the trailer for Stranger Things 5, Volume 2. But that’s not all we got. We also have 18 new images from the season’s second part. In these new images, we see all of our favorite characters, both friends and foes. We see some eerie new shots of Vecna. There are some good images of Dustin and Steve. We get Nancy looking badass with a bullet. And there are even new shots of Kali/Eight, Vickie, and Murray. Alone, these Stranger Things 5, Volume 2 images don’t tell us too much about what’s coming in this next part of Stranger Things‘ final season. But we are looking very closely at them just in case.
We’re particularly interested by the two of Vecna as Henry Creel and One. In the trailer for Stranger Things 5, Volume 2, we see an incredibly freaky sequence of Vecna cycling through different incarnations of himself. And he looks positively murderous about it in this new still image we see from that scene in Stranger Things 5, Volume 2. The shot of him skulking in the rain is also positively chilling.
What we DO like to see in these Stranger Things 5, Volume 2 images is a lot of Dustin and Steve together. The pair were at extreme odds in Stranger Things 5, Volume 1, and it broke our hearts. From what we can see though, Dustin is looking A LITTLE more softly at Steve in these images. So we will cross our fingers for some reconciliation. The duo NEED one another.
In any case, we’ll be looking at more than just images from Stranger Things 5, Volume 2 very soon. Stranger Things 5, Volume 2 releases on Christmas—that’s December 25 at 5 PM PT/8 PM ET. This release will include episodes five through seven.
