It’s a Stranger Things palooza as we head into the series’ final chapters. Stranger Things 5, Volume 2, released its very first clip and then a second one immediately followed. In this second new clip from Stranger Things 5, Volume 2, we see that Vecna has brought all his captured children into his mind prison. And yes, that includes Delightful Derek, who is now trapped with Max and Holly in this dangerous realm. Vecna tells the children that they are safe from the monsters in his lair, but unfortunately, their friends and family probably won’t join them. There are bigger things at stake. Vecna is looking DELIGHTFULLY creepy in this first-look clip from Stranger Things 5, Volume 2, even in his Henry/Mr. Whatsit form, we feel the ooze. It might feel to the children like they’re living in a fairy tale. But we know better. Somewhere, Vecna has all these children trapped in his flesh wall. He’s hooking them up to the Hive Mind. But what he’s doing with them in this Stranger Things 5, Volume 2 clip, we still don’t really know.
We have some theories that these children might be powering a wormhole for Vecna in Stranger Things 5, and that will allow Vecna to crush through space and time. But it’s really too early to tell exactly where the final volumes of Stranger Things will take us.
These new clips from Stranger Things 5, Volume 2 make us hungry for more. But we don’t have very long to wait now. Stranger Things 5, Volume 2, releases on Netflix on December 25, 2025.
