A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms

The tales of Dunk & Egg are coming to live-action. After the success of Game of Thrones and spinoff House of the Dragon, its time to take a lighter look into Westeros with yet another TV show. This prequel’s trailer is quite intriguing, so we hope that it delivers the thrills and laughs that we are hoping for.

Wonder Man

Yahya Abdul-Mateen II will play Simon Williams, who is an actor who wants to play a superhero but he’s a superhero for real. How meta can you get? The MCU looks like it wants to keep the small screen fun going with yet another character that fans can grow to love.

The Boys (Season 5)

War abounds in the world of The Boys. The titular team is split up, with some of them having gone through suffering in captivity while others, like Annie, spent some time chasing other issues. Summer 2026 TV Shows
Lanterns

Pro Lantern Hal Jordan and new recruit John Stewart team up in a superhero meets buddy cop story. They duo investigate a murder in Nebraska and it leads them down a dark and mysterious path. We already love the premise and are curious about this show for sure.
The Vampire Lestat

Interview with the Vampire season three is now operating under the title The Vampire Lestat, and for good reason. This saga continues to move forward and cover the second book of Anne Rice’s series.
House of the Dragon (Season 3)

Team Black and Team Green will continue to go head to head in season three. Which side are you on? And how many heads will roll? Will Daemon give us more great hairstyles? We will have to see how things go this summer.
Premiering Sometime in 2026 (We Hope!)
X-Men ‘97 (Season 2)
Disney+ will drop the next chapter of X-Men ’97 at some point in 2026. Season one was one of our faves by the finale, so we are expecting more goodness from this show.
Punisher Special Presentation
Who doesn’t love Jon Bernthal as the Punisher?! He will get his own special presentation that presumably takes place after Daredevil: Born Again‘s second season.
VisionQuest
Vision is returning to the small screen in a story that will force him to do some serious introspective work. And while this series will not have Wanda Maximoff in it (or so the people claim), it is going to keep building the intricate threads to the MCU.
Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man (Season 2)
Spidey swings back into action once again with another season of fun quips and adventures. This series is supposedly coming back in late 2026, so hopefully we will get a premiere date soon.
Delphi
Delphi will expand the Rocky/Creed universe by going into the famous boxing gym to witness the rise of new talent. It’s not clear if we will see any characters we know and love like Adonis but with Michael B Jordan producing it, we are curious.
Yellowjackets (Season 4)
The season three finale left us in quite the odd place with young Shauna being absolutely nuts and Natalie finding a way to contact someone. So, we know that season four will lead to the rescue and maybe show us what happened shortly after that time. And, we are curious about the present and who will ultimately be left standing in the end.
Dune: Prophecy (Season 2)
Now, this one is a big if because it could return in early 2027. But the sooner that we can get back into the Dune universe, the better life will be for us all.
Editor’s Note: Dune: Prophecy is a Legendary Entertainment production. Nerdist is a subsidiary of Legendary Digital Networks.
