Control Some Monsters and Learn How to Play MONSTERPOCALYPSE

What does it take to be the last monster standing? That’s what you’ll find out in the new Monsterpocalypse Board Game. Building on the world of Monsterpocalypse miniatures, this new game from Mythic Games and Privateer Press brings new elements to the world. The gameplay brings skirmishes galore between the Protectors and the Destroyers. Learn all the ins and outs of the Monsterpocalypse Board Game in our newest How to Play with host Becca Scott.

How to Play really shows off the board and design of Monsterpocalypse too. The detailed miniatures move through the city and among each team’s buildings to hunt opponents. And the buildings offer more than just cool urban atmosphere; they provide opportunities for smashing your enemies into nothing or for drawing power to gain even more advantages. The goal: choose your agenda between the Protectors and the Destroyers and then get rid of all the enemy monsters and take the city. You know, just casually claiming a city as part of the day’s work.

The Monsterpocalypse Board Game comes as a two-player core box that makes diving right in accessible. But if you crave more monster action, don’t worry. You can score a multi-player expansion that includes cooperative play and competitive play for up to four characters. The add-ons bring in more monsters, buildings, and units so players can really develop the urban area they want to conquer. Or if you’re like me, you’ll just want to acquire as many rad miniatures as possible. You never know when you’ll need a fierce monster at your side.
