Marvel’s SECRET INVASION First Trailer Reveals a Tense Thriller

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has shows and movies that come in all kinds of flavors—comedies, space adventures, even legal dramas. But the first trailer for Secret Invasion revealed at Disney’s D23 Expo brings us something altogether different. We’re in the tense, war-time thriller mode now. Secret Invasion‘s trailer has us at the edge of our seats.

“I’m the last person standing between them and what they really want.” Secret Invasion’s trailer reveals. And the trailer itself poses the question, “But what do they really want?” We guess we’ll have to tune in and find out. For now, we’ll rewatch this trailer with bated breath.

Secret Invasion centers Samuel L. Jackson who is back as Nick Fury. Cobie Smulders is also reprising her role as Maria Hill, as is Martin Freeman, who returns as Everett K. Ross. The trailer shows us that James “Rhodey” Rhodes, a.k.a War Machine, will also appear in Secret Invasion, played by Don Cheadle will also appear. Finally, Ben Mendelsohn, who played Talos in Captain Marvel and in Spider-Man: Far from Home, will return as well. We also finally get to see Olivia Colman and Emilia Clarke in action for the MCU.

The original synopsis for the show reveals, “The crossover event series showcases a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls who have been infiltrating Earth for years.” We know, in total, Secret Invasion will have six parts.

It’s high drama we can’t wait to see. No one is safe… And at any given moment everyone can suddenly look the same. So it’s scary times in the MCU, for sure.  Marvel Studios’ Secret Invasion, will stream in 2023 on Disney+. We’re crossing our fingers it will land on the sooner end. Because this trailer has our heart pounding for more, ASAP. We just hope all our favorite players can survive this war. It wouldn’t be the same without them. And we wouldn’t mind a little bit more of our favorite brand of Nick Fury, Fury with cats and/or Flerkens.
