First Look at Macaulay Culkin in FALLOUT Season 2

One of the biggest surprises of last year was how good Prime’s Fallout series was. The pitch-perfect mixture of disgusting gore, wild absurdism, and post-apocalyptic drama, the video game adaptation received a whopping 16 Emmy nominations. Naturally, a second season announcement came almost immediately after the first wrapped. Since then, we received trickles of news about the highly anticipated second season of Fallout. And our favorite is that Macaulay Culkin will be joining the cast in a recurring role. You can catch a first look at Macaulay Culkin in his Fallout season two role (which we think might be Caesar), below.

So far, we don’t know much at all about Macaulay Culkin’s Fallout season two role, and no one has commented. However, in the initial report of Culkin’s joining, Deadline noted the actor will be playing a “crazy genius-type” character on Fallout season two. You know, those types? In the Fallout world, it’s not that big of a stretch.

Since then, Fallout season two’s teaser trailer led people to believe Macaulay Culkin might play the infamous New Vegas figure of Caesar. Caesar is the leader of a Fallout: New Vegas legion called Caesar’s Legion. This legion is a group of genocidal Hegelian slavers that seek to create a world of totalitarian leadership loosely modeled after the Roman Empire. In the teaser trailer, we see the back of Caesar’s head, and it kind of looks like Culkin’s. And the armor matches our first full look at Culkin from the latest Fallout season two trailer. It’s hard to definitively confirm exactly who Macaulay Culkin will play in Fallout season two based solely on these images… But yeah, we’re leaning toward Macaulay Culkin as Caesar in Fallout season two.

Culkin is, of course, the former behemoth child star whose hit movies included Home Alone, My Girl, and The Good Son. He’s actually already acted opposite Fallout star Walton Goggins, playing Baby Billy’s son Harmon Freeman in HBO’s The Righteous Gemstones in season two.

Fallout season two will continue on with the story and characters of season one. It will also shift some, if not all, of the action to New Vegas as Lucy MacLean (Ella Purnell) and the Ghoul (Goggins) head there to look for her shady father (Kyle MacLachlan). We’re excited to see Culkin join that band of wastelanders. Fallout season two releases on December 17.
