In honor of the iconic rebel ship, whose proton torpedos blew up the Death Star, the LEGO Group has announced the Ultimate Collector Series X-wing Starfighter building set. This new 1,949-piece LEGO Star Wars set is highly detailed. It includes the Incom 4L4 fusil thrust engines and the Taim & Bak KX9 laser cannons. At over 55cm/21.5” long, the X-wing Starfighter set is the perfect addition to the Ultimate Collector Series. It joins the AT-AT, the Millennium Falcon, the Razorcrest from The Mandalorian, and Luke Skywalker’s landspeeder from A New Hope. Once completed, owners of this amazing build can display the X-wing model with either the wings open or closed. Plus, it comes complete with Luke Skywalker and R2-D2 Minifigures. It also comes with a display plaque with technical details about the X-wing itself.
The new LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series X-wing Starfighter set will be available from May 1 for LEGO VIP members exclusively on LEGO.com/star-wars and in LEGO Stores priced at $239.99/209.99. For everyone else, they’ll land on May the 4th (of course). It will be on display exclusively at the Star Wars Celebration event in London from April 7-10, 2023, at the LEGO booth.
In addition, Celebration attendees will be able to get their hands on the new LEGO Star Wars Brickheadz Battle of Endor building set. Just in time to celebrate 40 years of Return of the Jedi. These feature Luke, R2-D2, Lando, an Ewok and Princess Leia-inspired LEGO Star Wars Minifigures, before it is available anywhere else.
